Author Topic: Freek's Tutorial on how to upload images from iOS to forum  (Read 496 times)

Have you ever wondered how to get your camera roll photos on your iOS device to the forums in a fast and easy way? First, download an app from the App Store named Picup. It has an icon of a cloud with a face. Once it's done, open the app and press the upload button (button on the bottom with the box and the plus). Next, select or take an image from the camera roll. Once selected, it will upload the image to imgur. Then tap where it says "Remote Location". Press Copy to Clipboard then open the Blockland Forums and press the [IMG] tag button. In between the two tags, paste the image URL. You may need to resize it due to pagestretch.

Cool!
Yep. I used to have to upload them manually which was a pain because I had to email them to my computer, then save them, upload them to photobucket, then post.

Android already includes something like this. c:

You can upload from a website directly from your iOS now, by the way (as of iOS 6.0). Like on imageshack or imgur as you would on a computer. It also works on websites for avatars and such (yes even here).

But yeah I've used this method with an imgur app for a couple of years now, since I browse the forums on my iPhone mostly.

I just use photobucket then copy the direct link then add img tags

imgupr is another great app developed by the creators of imgur

none of the imgur apps work on my phone  :panda:

Or photobucket.

Or hold the image down, press copy, paste the link into the address bar, copy that, paste it in forum, put [img][ /img] between it.
