Look, an ingrown hair is extraordinarily painful. It will be a large bump, very easily felt with the tip of your finger, that will be in a crevice (armpit, asscrack, inner thigh). It will feel like the size of a grape 80% embedded in you like an iceberg. You'll be able to break it by pulling it up out of your skin. It will explode with a gush of pus and blood and will be the most terrible pain you've ever felt.
