Even though I can, not everyone can read tiny transparent fine print. It's like those pale shampoo bottles with tiny white text.

Whenever a new youtube design comes in there's always comments like "Who let a 4 year old design this". I actually think that the new designs are pretty good (apart from user activity on the homepage). Probably 50% of the people post comments about how stuff it is just because of peer pressure.

Youtube's new design is great. Although i would prefer the subscription bar on the left to be white on black rather than gray on white, the scroll bar and the number of unwatched videos is really cool, considering i used to have to open the page for that. There's also too much dead space on the right side.

they put less work into thier new designs, the ebay logo has less work put into it, and so does the ableton logo.

It gets better over time. Square corners are more efficient and are the new cool. I am supportive of everything going to rectangular.

EDIT: You should also get a theme for your Gmail. I prefer the Classic Theme "High Score".

Here's how it goes, Google changes youtube layout, everyone despises it, they change it some time later on, everyone loving complains wanting the old layout back but to late to change now.  Clever bastards.
