Minimalistic is the new design look for most big internet sites now, for some reason. Personally, I like it, although I think that it would look better if the youtube page was centered.

Wow, youtube's redesign really is weird to get used to.
But it's okay.

Except for some things like, the homepage is not where you can see the latest uploads of your subscriptions.
Which is annoying, but okay.
And the space left and right is just strange, as if i am on a mobile phone. :X

That's the problem I have with the websites. Back then, some windows used to be a bright yellow, some blue, so I could actually find my stuff instantly only by recognizing their colors. Now this stuff is all gray.

The pure white page with very few lines can hurt the eyes, yahoo's purple design is very good and looks nice to the eyes so it hasn't been changed.

it's modern, sleek and lovey. simplistic designs are better than unnecessary stuff. when i go to check my e-mail, i want to do just that. not have an option to play farmville in a mini window at the same time.

You can put a background on gmail, I have a cute pixel background that changes from day to night depending on my clock.

I love the new youtube layout, except for one thing, the fact that everything is on the left.

The new design is mechanically broken, sometimes the related videos disappear and the comments get all forgeted up.
