Author Topic: Got somebody to fix my computer. They ended up ruining my birthday weekend  (Read 1193 times)

Well my computer has been burning up and my mother decided we needed new hardware. When the guy finally got here, I was happy. He was putting in an Nvidia card, oh joy. Turned out, he gave me a twenty dollar Nvidia 310. Can't run Payday on lowest settings. The thing's worse than an intel card. My birthday is this weekend, and now my computer is worse than Star9578's laptop. On a list of cards from best to worst, the card is on the bottom. Nobody knows how much I want everyone related to this situation to die slowly.

I'm sure you can get a hitman off craig's list.

you're card is way better than my ATI readeon HD 2400 pro

probably

I had an ATI Readeon HD in the computer before, and I had no problems running anything.

was it 2400 pro?
Because mine could probably run Diablo 3 at medium or low

When's your birthday?
Mine's tomorrow.

Mine was either in the 4ks or possibly a 7k. I don't remember, I hadn't checked what it was in the longest time.

Mine's tomorrow.
Tenth.

Report his company to the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint that they provided you with hardware that was less than sub-par and was subordinate to your previous card.

Unless you ordered that card. In that case, that's your problem.

We specified for a card that was the same or better.
Almost the same situation happened before, but then I could actually run half of my games.

He's a dumbass.
Old one had probably a few GB worth of ram.
He even told me it was a good card, and when my mother noticed it was a fourth the size of the old one, he said size didn't matter.

That naming convention makes it sound old but it was made in 2009

What previous graphics card or Intel GMA did you use?
