I personally find boxer shorts uncomfortable. (Boxer-)briefs have this sort of "pouch" for your junk; most boxers I see lack this.

Yeah, I find boxer briefs more comfertable as well, but I dont have many. Never worn regular briefs, but they look pretty comfy.
