AX90G - Persona
Comblock - Blockland Computing
Yeah, I finally stopped being lazy. Whoopee!
However, I don't have a working mouse at the moment, so, there IS a few bugs yet to be fixed. Don't fret, these will be fixed shortly.
The only notable bug is the fact that only 3 of the quiknav buttons work. Oh well, I don't expect many people to use it anyway.

Other than that, this pc is basically bug free. So, I do think that I'll release it. Whenever I fix quiknav, I'll update the OP.

Features

6 Programs
  • User Manual
  • Preferences
  • Rom Manager
  • MediKit Player Manager
  • Music Player
  • Item Cache

User Manual
The AX90G's User manual gives you a basic rundown of how to operate the blockland pc, explaining what the buttons on the computer do, and how to navigate through different programs.

Basic operation of the computer consists of utilizing the touch screen on the computer to select and navigate to an application, along with exiting back to the menu. The keyboard is used to select options within menus, which are displayed in center and bottomprints on the user's screen.

Preferences
The Preferences program allows you to customize both the keyboard and the color of the accents found on the pc. There are five different colors to chose from for both the keyboard and the accents.

  • Green
  • Red
  • Blue
  • Yellow
  • Sky-Blue

Rom Manager
The AX90G Persona runs the AxcellereX D41 Rom system, and is backwards compatable with any roms of the D series. This means that it can run ROMS from the D40, and D39, but, not from the D42.

The Persona has eight (8) different ROM slots, and they can all be accessed via this program, by using the 1-4 buttons on the keyboard to select a slot, and the 5 button to change pages.
Page 1 contains roms A-D, page 2 contains roms E-H.

When you press one of the buttons to access the corresponding ROM, the computer first checks if there is a ROM in the slot. There will be a 200ms delay between you pressing the button and the ROM launching.
note: There is a bug with slower servers. When attempting to access a ROM while a server is lagging, the rom may not launch. This is because the server doesn't process the event in the allotted amount of time, and the computer assumes that there is no rom in the slot. This is a minor glitch, and will be fixed in the next release.

After the ROM has been launched, the Persona's controls switch input over to the selected ROM. The function of said ROM varies.

The documentation for creating a ROM can be found in the link below.
(LINK PENDING)

MediKit - Player Manager
In this program, the AX90G uses it's advanced nanotechnology to morph the form of your character. The first option you will be presented with when accessing the rom will heal you to 100 health. While, health does vary between playertypes, this may be beneficial or harmful. This will be fixed in later AxcellereX models.

This program also allows changing of player scale, from minimum (20%) to maximum (200%)

Datablock changing is also available. For practical reasons, the only datablocks you can change to are all blockheads, no horses. Sorry.

Music Player
The AX90G Persona is powered by Blokz audio, and allows complete use of all blockland's default songs.
This application also features the most amount of pages to navigate, consisting of four full pages.

Page navigation is done with the 5 button and the arrow key.

Item Cache
The AX90G's cloning system is capable of delivering all sorts of useful items to your player!

The Item cache includes all default weapons, tools, and all four colors of keys.

i can make it happen
It's not hard.

I'm just saying, I'm not doing that in an actual update.

CheeseDragon's ROMS fack why did I post in my other account..?

Basic Calculator

It can only add, subtract, divide and multiply but it does the job!

How to use:
First you must type a number, e.g "63". Then press either 1 - Add, 2 - Subtract, 3 - Multiply or 4 - Divide. You then must type another number e.g "12". After that you must press 5 (Equals), and the message "63 - 12 = 51!" will come up. Handy!

Random Number Generator

Does exactly what it says on the tin.

How to use:
This is the button layout copied from the ROM:
"1) +1 to minimum number  2) +1 to maximum number  3) -1 from minimum number  4) -1 from maximum number 5) Generate!".
Basically, pressing 1 will add 1 to the starting number to be used in generating a random number, lets say you set it to "5". Then you press 2 a couple times until your number is "14". If you then pressed 5 to generate a message will come up saying "11" or whatever it comes up as. Pressing it more times could come up with "5" "9" "13". You get the idea :P

Up 'n' Down game

Not as fun as tetris...

How to play: There are 3 buttons on this, 1 - help, 2 - start and 3 - other info. Other info tells you stuff about the making of the game. Help will give you help about the game, I will tell you the basics and you can then read that if you want. Ok, so Up 'n' Down is the first game I've made on this PC. It is a fast paced game on which you must either look up when it tells you or look down when it tells you. That's it.

When you press play it will either say "Look up" or "Look down". You must simply follow the instructions. Remember to look STRAIGHT down, as down as you can look (Same with up of course). It can get quite confusing, and you get a total score when you loose.

WARNING The Up 'n' Down game ROM requires Boom's Variable Replacers. Download them before you complain to me. Download Variable Replacers

"AxcellereX D41"

How about EasyROM

Lol.
Nope.
Persona EasyROM sounds more clean and friendly than:
"The Comblock AX90G Persona AxcellereX D41"

Also nice ROMs Cheese

can we make videogames for it or is that for the AX91B or whatever

it is entirely possible to make games, but games that involve the screen changing (video-games) is not possible on the AX90G to my knowledge. I think Evar is still trying to find a nice way to change the screen on the Ignite without named bricks. He might have to resort to them, though.

No I won't, I already found out how to do that. I have a working prototype already, but, optimizing it will be a pain.

Yes.

You are correct, but I may implement a very (very) basic method of changing the pixels on the AX90G. Depends.

What?
Its just AxcellereX D41, AX_D41 for short, not "The Comblock AX90G Persona ....."
Its a version system that makes it so that ROMS will work on any computer with the same rom system or higher.

A way that is able to change more than one colour at a time?

My way /should/ already do that, I've yet to find out the reason why it doesn't.

I'm guessing it's because of how it's looping through the events

I'm gonna put up a server now and play around with it. Feel free to join.
