Author Topic: Basketball League Team Name  (Read 714 times)

I'm coaching a recreational basketball team starting tomorrow. I need a good team name by tomorrow morning at 11:00 AM CST.

Seriously guys this is a 2nd - 4th grade basketball league. Come up with an appropriate team name. Nothing with any cuss words or loveual references. Or anything the average strict parent wouldn't approve of.
Edit:
Oh by the way, I'm looking for a really creative name that would be something never done before.

I live in Wisconsin with a state mascot of the Badger, in the town of Darlington with a mascot of the Redbird.
Don't pick any of those. They are way too over used and unoriginal.

Well can you give me like a 2 - 3 worded team name like most sports team names? One with alliteration or rime would be good?

Why don't you ask the children themselves what kind of name they want for a team?

What's the worse that could happen? They're only in fourth grade.  :cookieMonster:

Yeah. We always used to do that when I was in 2-4 grades. But always you'd get the kids stuck on names like
-The Darlington Redbirds
-The Wisconsin Badgers
-The Basketballers

In other words, stupid names that just get repeated every damn year and who ever wins the contest of the most creative name is usually just a rerun from year to year.
