What I hate about these new Star Trek movies is the whole paradox nonsense that changes everything in Star Trek lore. Voyager may now never be stranded in the Delta Quadrant. Tuvok is probably dead etc etc. The whole thing is a big mess.

In the intro to Star Trek Online, Spock clearly says "time does not stop for one man." The thing about time travel is yes, it's a giant mess with timelines and stuff, but it doesn't completely erase the "original" timeline.
