Author Topic: Getting Blockland Submitted to the ESRB?  (Read 3305 times)

If Blockland was submitted to the ESRB, what rating would it be and why? And, why isn't Blockland rated by the ESRB?

I think Blockland would have been rated T or E10+, and if ESRB rated online stuff, it would be M.

If the ESRB rated nearly any game's online content they would all be rated AO

OP, why would offline be rated T?
It would be E, hands down

Guns. I have never seen an E rated game with guns. I do see E10+ and T games with them. Plus don't forget other weapons and some ways to die. Content descriptors would be Cartoon Violence.

If you play single player than it would probably be rated E10+. And if you play online it probably wouldn't even be rated.

ESRB doesn't rate online games.

it would be E10+, it has cartoony guns and "ouch" signs, ESRB does not rate online interactions/ 3rd party modifications

Online interaction not rated.
So i guess E10+ at max.

Don't forget mild language. Look at the spray can. But I'm sure censored words won't do damage I think.

If you count all the default content, it would be E10+ with the "Online content not rated by ESRB" thing.

I know ESRB don't rate online content. I'm just saying if they did.

I've seen E10+ games that cuss with no censor so this shouldn't be a problem.
