Author Topic: Did anyone else notice there was an underwater sound?  (Read 2170 times)

I was browsing the sound files and I found a sound called "underWater1.wav"

you can barely hear it but I turned it up and it sounds like ocean water waves.

Did anyone else notice this?

Never knew, I guess their are easter eggs and, or secrets upon us..  :cookieMonster:

It should be louder and should also affect sounds outside of the water block if possible, like make them lower if muffling them isn't a possibility

Also, i don't hear it at all, i placed the 32x water blocks and raised my sound to the max while wearing headphones and i don't hear a thing

True, it would be cool.

it's probably only for environments

The only thing I think Blockland needs more work on is sound.  You easily get by on what it has, but it'd be very cool if it had more things like this.

Water can't be spawned using the mission editor anymore, so i can't check this :(

Doh! I knew there was another way of having water!

Nah, there's not even a 1 pixel line of green or gray in Windows' volume mixer with everything else on mute

Blocklands sound system should be the next bulletin in Badspots work book. If i haven't convinced you that its a good time for upgrade, try to do the alarm emote in first person or move your head next to a music brick. There should be a limit on how high the sound can be.

True, and every time I use the alarm, I have to go thirdperson.

Oh god, some sounds are just too loud

Alarm being one of them.  Also the "Win" sound that plays when you open treasure chests.
