Author Topic: Looking for a good free/free version of a Anti-Virus  (Read 561 times)

Recently, I've been trying to look for this one McAfee anti-virus disc for my laptop, but while I can't find it, my Malwarebytes free trial went out, so now i'm trying to look for a free/free version of a anti-virus to fill in temporarily.
Ones i'm trying to decide on getting:
Khaspersky (Atleast, I think that's how it's spelled)
Avast!
Microsoft Security Essentials
or
AVG.
Also, I can only choose one of these, considering i don't want two anti-viruses scanning and doing all it's stuff at the same time and interfering with eachother, also adding a poll.

Norton

Oh wait you wanted good, and free ones?

I'd recommend AVG, it has protected me in the past, and still is today.

bump, in need of more votes.

Avast. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT get AVG.

A lot of people have been in need of new antivirus programs lately.
Use Avast.

This may be an idiotic question but, what's wrong with AVG?
