Author Topic: What is your school schedule?  (Read 1583 times)

I have 126min periods :(
By any chance, do you live in New York, Connecticut, Colorado, Tennessee, or Massachusetts?
What sick and twisted person thought that was a good idea?!

I miss having 40 minute periods. :(
I feel sorry for however long your periods may be now.

Be jealous of my 125 minute periods.

Then happy weekend to me c:

Our school is weird; we use 1:30 long classes, and only have four per semester. The logic is to have less interrupted flow of learning. I like it, but it's a public school and the overall value is debatable honestly.
This semester I've had
Block 1. Honors US History
Block 2. Healthy Lifestyles
Advisory
A Lunch
Block 3. Computer Programming (I know my teacher well enough that he was very fervent that I should skip his lower-level class entirely.)
Block 4. Honors Geometry

I also participate in the Math Team, and so far I have had the uncontested best score every time, though our school kinda sucks. We are competing with some well-reputed schools (St. Pauls' etc.) and as a public school it's nice that we can compete at all. Apparently this time we were not in the last place, so that is a definite start.

I have blocks...
Block 1- Math
Block 2- Language Arts/English
Block 3- Science/World Geography
In the middle of Block 3- Lunch
Block 4- Music

English 1
health
art
lunch
info process/computer crap
5th period(study hall) aka I play around on the computer.

writing
math
reading
science
lunch
life skills (cook stuff, lern about puberty lol!!)
gym (or choir depending on day)

The modern system of thought on education on love and drugs is that you should learn about them every year independently from 7th grade to 10th, with slightly different amounts of information in different areas every time. Next semester I think I have the 4th health class I have taken.
