Usually perm's are for repeat offenders, at least I think this is how it goes.

Posting links to some websites will get you an automatic perma ban and any appeals to it will be ignored, so be VERY, VERY careful about what sites you link, even in pictures.

Pretty sure piracy gets you a week or two banishment, CP on the other hand would most definitely get you permanently banned and the offending post deleted.

No, they won't. Appeals weren't ignored at all back when IP banning was still in effect.
