Who even keeps old macs?
Lots of people, Macintosh computers hold together longer because of Apple's ecosystem.
Also people collect them for their designs. I have a handful of iMac G3's and I restored an iBook Clamshell Indigo. :3
Never use 'em but still, they look seckzy on shelves.
