Would this run 3D games (on low graphics) fairly decent? (Fairly decent means like 30fps+) (main games in question are Team Fortress 2, Driver: San Fransisco, DiRT 2, and TES: Skyrim.)

Specs incase you don't wanna click the link.

3rd Gen Intel® Core™ i5-3317U processor
Intel® Core™ i5 processor
8GB DDR3 SDRAM
Intel® HD Graphics 4000

The main thing I'm concerned about being bad is the graphics card. If so, is it possible to replace it on a laptop? (most likely with AMD)

Sorry, I guess I'm kind of "computer-hardware-mentally-challenged."

As you said GPU sucks ass, but you cannot replace laptops GPU's. I have a intel 3000 graphics card. :/

EDIT: You can play TF2, and all source games. But not Skyrim, the laptop would blowup.

I don't know why people are always asking if "this laptop could let me run low games" when you should really save your money to buy a more expensive laptop that can run games on HIGH and have that better computer last a lot longer.

Me either. If you want to buy games on PC, why not be able to run them maxed out? If you want to run them on low, go buy a console for $600 cheaper. Lmao.

Not getting a console because I'd prefer something portable. Also I can't build my own because I'm 13 and my parents don't want to go through the "hassle" of getting the parts and building it. They even think selecting parts and having it built and shipped (like from ibuypower.com) is bad. They just want to get something they can walk into a store and get. Any laptops under $1000 are good...so I'm open to suggestions.

If you want to game, a laptop is NOT the way to go.

Already said it's my only option.
Any good ones?

Why can't you save about 1000 dollars and then search online for a gaming rig (desktop pc) and let us review it?

he's already said it's his only option. learn to read dammit.

Either you're parents are really stubborn or they don't know stuff about buying online.
