Author Topic: Good Free 2D Animation Program?  (Read 1328 times)

I've tried adobe's flash professional 8, and I looked at the price of its newest version - 700 dollars. NO. I'm looking for similar programs that are free, and if not at least significantly cheaper. I don't see why I should pay a (not actual) fortune for drawing pictures and having them assembled into frames.

Pivot (lol)
Easytoon

Also, I think Flash 5 is free for download on Adobe's wobsite

rarely do you actually get a combination of good and free
look around on sourceforge or something, but I doubt they'll have what you're looking for

Tried it already. It's not good at all.

If this is true I need to know where.

Hah, that's a good one.
oh here we loving go, jumping onto this stuff again.

Considering how much of the internet is build by Flash content made with their programs, that price is far too low. I suppose it is enough to support them comfortably, but considering how important their program is to creating reliable, compatible Flash elements, it is underpriced.

Just justifying it.

Didn't macromedia have flash 8 at like 80$?

I bought flash in a pack and it only cost me like $300

except it's perfectly possible to do this, only without fancy animation effects, so stop being an ass.
