HotshotGG generally uses a touchpad when playing League of Legends.

And what does that say about LoL?

Whatever you do, don't get a wireless mouse. I mean, unless you like eating batteries and having a jittery cursor.

but you can't really play a first-person shooter with a touchpad.

Yes you can. I play TF2 competitively with a touchpad.

And I know from second hand experience that you do marvelously, also, re-add me on steam you butt.

Why are you trying to play without a mouse and on a laptop in the first place?

I disagree.
My wireless logitech works perfectly and doesn't eat any batteries as it has a usb charging dock where I put it when I don't need it.
I never had any problems with it having not enough energy to work accurately.

Razer Naga. They're really expensive but has a numpad on the side which can be set to any key on your keyboard.

Look up RATs, i have the cheapest one of the series, ive used it most days for 2 years for average of 8 hours at least, works perfectly fine, looks uber bad-ass, feels amazingly comfortable, has changeable sensitivity buttons on the mouse, two programable buttons which ive set up to automatically rapid click, plus a button which changes what the programmable buttons do, so you can have different settings for different games. Keep in mind that is the cheapest one they sell. The most expensive one is wireless, a crap ton more sensitive (if you set it to be of course), has adjustable weights, replaceable 'shell', with different feel, a sniping button (basically sets the sensitivity to lowest for sniping), wireless with battery charger, horizontal scroll bar. And there's probably more, haven't looked it up in a while.

Of course, its rather expensive for the newest one.. I got mine for £40 i think, but you could probably get it on ebay for half that.
