Subpixel has posted an add-on that goes by the name "SayAs", allowing any admin to anonymously talk under another players name.

He has removed it due to bad pole results, and just re-posted it with a new pole that has nothing to do with the add-on.

He acts like we haven't provided a valid reason as to why the add-on is abusive, and will most likely ignore any further argument against the add-on.

That doesn't make it less abusive when the host is a moron, which is almost certainly the case if the host is the one who installed it in the first place.

This mod is a complete hunk of junk that has given the inept hosts a new way to abuse. Being a console command, most of the tits who would use it for abuse had no access to it. Now they do.

Subpixel should be held solely accountable for all drama it causes.

The topic should be locked and killed, he's removed the link but he's keeping it up so he can PM it to people.

I've locked the topic, and I'm not PMing it to anyone (aside from badspot,) which makes me hope he CRC's it. SayAs was a bad idea in the first place but I never got it through my skull, and now I can promise sayAs will no longer be a nuisance.

Nope.

We are talking about a reasonably small gaming community where someone has released a bad add-on targetting people who would otherwise not be able to use the abusive mod.

This is more like someone giving out staple guns in a kindergarten. It is the fault of the distributor, the idiots that use it don't know any better.

if they're using it to cause drama, they know exactly what they're doing - there's intent behind that. the blame isn't solely on subpixel, it's on the people who use it to cause drama too.
