I watched lord of the rings when it was on FX or something, I don't know if it was the commercials or the movie was just so long, but it felt like one movie was 8 freaking hours long! I barely remember the storyline of either, but I remember star wars the most.

I have not read LotH, so until I get around to doing that I can't really make a good opinion, though if I were to half-ass it I'd say star wars because I'm a bigger fan of sci-fi than mideval fantasy.
