Author Topic: WBC Hate Group Petition  (Read 5484 times)

well the g20 group are evil globalists anyways :P

harassment is subjective. obviously the law says they are not being harassing.
they are peacefully protesting.

the location and the reason are irrelevant.

we cant start claiming the law is being broken more this ir that time just because we are more or less offended.
I don't want to take away freedom of speech but it's obviously hateful

edit:
The government doesn't, it's already gone to court.
I guess it's because it's not repeated on the same people.

being hateful isnt a crime. they dont even debate that, they love being haters.

why do you guys think this is criminal? lol

And I can bet my left and right kidney it'll go to court again.

because they select certain groups of people and go against them. gays, military personnel, and now children of a state that allows gay marriage. This IS a hate group. You can compare it to any definition here on the internet or in any book, odds are they will fit "hate group" pretty damn well.

How about instead of instead of letting the government solve our problems we just humilate them?

Also did you guys now there is a faction in the gay and transgendered community that hates straight people?

And it will still be allowed? So what exactly is your point? What control does the president have when the supreme court already said it's allowed? We don't live in a dictatorship where the president makes all the decisions, this petition is useless.

Some poor guy on the street could use it as toilet paper.

The petition is useless so long as it doesn't get enough votes. If people don't vote for a president, then he doesn't get elected. Same story here.
My point is, they CAN be taken to a court of law, and considering it would be offensive to a little less than 28 families, I imagine WBC would lose. The president has limited control, just like every other branch.

I'm all for freedom of speech, peaceful w/e and all. But the rate at which you defend this... Does this not upset you in the slightest? You must be a real starfish to be so uncaring.

You act as if the White House gives two stuffs enough to even consider any petition put on that website.

Their protests usually end in either them leaving in cars being actively destroyed, or people getting beaten the forget up. There is a point when it become less of a peaceful protest and more of an instigation of riots, and they know it.

lots of you are against freedom of speech i see.

even insane hateful people have the right. they havnt broken any laws.

who are you to suggest they have less rights just because you disagree with them? that is the core of what it protected.
I think that they should be able to go down for harassment, but still voice their opinions in non-starfish ways. Better yet, give the people who are being protested against full right to attempt to fight off the protesters, that'll be fun.

that is peaceful protesting...

No, it isn't. It's not necessarily violent either.  It's extreme acts of harassment and trying to enforce christian-motivated laws on our omnitheistic country, without looking at some of the obvious negative side effects of those laws. This is textbook-definition fascism and should be ignored by everyone, or else our country will be a whole lot less free than it already is.

There is a good amount of evidence that the WBC does this so people will attack them, then they can sue them for assault.

But that's just what I heard.

on an AMA (reddit) of a former member, someone asked if this was true. they replied that they really do believe everything they preach, and the lawsuits are just for their protection.

How come nobody has protested outside THEIR establishment?

I'd do it.
