ok so my mom's company had this christmas party thing for the employees and their kids. they spent $10,000 on it :I
but anyway, I found out about a week before it was going down that
I had to go. I wasn't entirely happy about that, but w/e. it'd last like four hours for most people, but since my mom is one of the HR officers (and HR was in charge of it), we'd have to go two hours early
still, not much of a problem
my complaint was on the day before, when I found out that my sister and I were going to have to get in mickey and minnie mouse suits for an hour during it. oh god
I knew I was going to be paid $25 for it, but I was very far from looking forward to it
anyway, when it came to it, it wasn't actually as bad as I suppose it could have been. it was hot, but not very. I couldn't see for stuff, but that was a small problem
decidedly worth $25, and we're also supposedly getting some more from my mom's boss
