Pretty sure that's for the Windows "App Store". You're still able to install all your favorite open-source programs.

Windows 8 is a waste. They take away start button, make it little faster then release.

windows 7 was practically a revamp of aero, improved performance and dumbed down security settings.  "big deal".

I downloaded Windows 8 as soon as the preview was made available and bought it on launch. I am 100% happy with my decisions.

And a college student discount that takes an additional $10 off that.

I've yet to use that coupon.
