It has a world record low in gun crime rates.

But every country has gun crimes. Most of those shooters obtain the guns illegally.

Up to 1 hour to even set up a SWAT team effectively. During those 20 minutes, you could kill off everybody in the bank with your fancy gun

We're talking about travel and set-up time.
Most police departments, when trying to stop, for example, a robbery, usually don't immediately deploy SWAT teams unless shots have been fired or so much time has gone by that the police officers have failed in convincing the robber to surrender.

gun owners generally follow the law, and most criminals obtain their guns illegally(including theft). You don't really have mass shootings in New York City because there are a lot of people who have guns(illegally or legally.)

banning assault weapons won't do anything about shootings, it's going to be a little harder, but you can do a lot more damage with a shotgun in a school.

Why do they have SWAT teams. They're just police officers with different guns and body armor.
Why do we even have to have regular po-pos when we have SWAT teams? I don't think you would consider committing a crime if you had people with assault rifles wandering about.

I never understood why people are afraid of fully automatic rifles when shots can be fired more accurately on semi auto. Plus the .223 is for hunting stuff like rapits. 5.56 on the other hand I would be more afraid off. Anyway I would be happy with a beat up single shotgun or a less tactical ruger rifle that fires the same round as the ar15.

do you really think that criminals are going to follow gun laws? no. we need to defend ourselves from the criminals. pistol versus assault rifle. do the math. it isnt rocket science.
