Author Topic: I need a decent, preferably free video editing program.  (Read 928 times)

Doing a project for school on a PC an I need something for my video. Windows Live Movie Maker is a piece of absolute garbage, so I need one that actually works. It needs to be easy to use and understand, be able to add music, add subtitles, and be able to speed up parts of the video. Basically I need iMovie for Windows. I promised the video would be ready by tomorrow, so speed is of the essence. I can't watch 4 hours of tutorials.

you can do tons of stuff on wlmm

just put some effort into your videos ok

Windows Live Movie Maker sucks, you can't have custom effects and transitions

...Can you?

...Can you?

i thought so

Pretty sure the trial of Sony Vegas lets you save and render stuff until the 30 days are up. Since you won't need to use it for that long, it should be fine for you.

Third party addons.

effort isn't his problem here, wlmm keeps thinking his files are corrupted when he imports them, and the only file type it exports in he can't use for whatever reason.

what i thought until

Third party addons.
