He asked me what day it was and I said "December 19th" and he said "chola" which is like some weird insult idk..??

honestly, I've never saw ANYONE in my life who is a spanish immagrant and only knows spanish.

Staying in the u.s. and working a plantation maybe, the language of bussness is english.

regardless, my spanish teacher last year told us that there will be more spanish speakers than english speakers by some later year

i've just been going off of that. never bothered to look into it through, but i'll go ahead and do that.
