this college seems really easy to get into
they send me emails every week its annoying as forget
They admit 36% of applicants.
Good job!
I got accepted into devry about 3 months ago myself. :)
It's a great feeling, y'know? Its like, you know that you really have a chance to do something really good in the future.
Am I right?
Even though Devry is easy to be accepted to, it's the same feeling. I'm very happy that I'll have at least one opportunity. I have other admission decisions to wait on, of course, but just knowing that I have at least one option is a great feeling.
This school made one hell of an impactful visit for me. I arranged for a tour, and this is how my day ended up: arrive at school, student leader buys my and my parents lunch at the school dining hall area (pretty nice place, very open and the food was decent), we talk for a while, then I go to a meeting at their Information Technology center with one of the department chairs. i walk into the center and on a massive television in the lobby of the building it says "Welcome Carson Beck!" in big letters. I was all :0 and then I met with the lady and she was cool, then I met with their professor in computer science and got to see their curriculum outline for the upcoming school year (this was last spring I took the tour).
tl;dr I had a fantastic visit at this school, and they have great opportunities for me. It was a reach for me, but it's great knowing I got in.
Acceptance by e-mail? God, pretty soon people will be told they have been accepted by a text message.
They actually directed me to their site, where I had to log in with credentials and whatnot to get the decision. They noted in the email, without telling me the decision, that I would be receiving a letter as well. I personally like that you have the option of getting a decision as soon as it's made, or rather waiting for the hard copy if you prefer.
