No time was ever specified in any of the ancient civilizations that predicted this phenomenon. Any predictions such as 11:11 UTC make no sense, first off the Mayans were in CST not UTC, and second the calendar ends on 12/20/12, it doesn't have half of 12/21/12 there and then stops mid day.

Realistically, the world could end at 23:59:59 UTC and still fulfill the 'prophecy'.

what, do you just hate all the posts in the world

They person that started this actually twisted and changed what the mayans stated as they never stated the end of the calender is the end of the world.

My shockedness meter didn't even blip when I discovered that the Earth is still here.

And I still say that at December 22nd, 2012, 12:00 PM, all the crazies are going to go: "Oh... wait, it also might end on December 23rd! PANIC! AAAA"

Chill bro, everything here is for amusement.  No one believes the word will end, because it is based on BS ideas and scepticisms.  I said it ends at 9:12 pm is because it continues the pattern; 12/21/12 21:12.  People come up with these stuff "end of the world" times because they like to continue amuse the fact that this has been said to be the end of the world for a few years now, and we are loving the day.
