Did you think the Mayans thought about the time zones when they predicted the end of the world? Because Australia is ahead of us, its 12:28 AM here, I'm in US. It's like December 22, 2012, for them is possible 23th..so wouldn't the world end by now?

time zone point has been brought up. supposedly the world would end in the mayan's time zone, or at a specific time (11:11 UTC i think someone said).

the mayans didn't even predict the end of the world anyway, it was just the end of their calandar. if anything it'd be a mayan's equivalent of a new year or new decade.
