I would've expected you to be able to infer that I wanted to do this on the-
let me make it big and bold for everyone, in fact.

I am doing this on the night of January 1st. NOT DECEMBER 31ST.

I know, I've done it before, that's why I said what I said about attendance. A party on that day is not really worth it.

Well, what timezone are you in? There are people that join Kaphs on the 1st to watch the later timezones tick over.

Kalphiters New Years server has sort of become an iconic part of the community in the last few years. It always gets a massive player count and he syncs the countdown to be as accurate as possible.

The only way someone could better this is if they developed a better build, perhaps with more interactivity and interest , and used something like a local chat to stop chat spam. Kalphiters party is a little obnoxious due to the 200 people vying to be heard lol.

I'm not trying to better Kalph, because well, he's Kalph. It can't be done. He'll end up shunning anyone who tries to compete with him.

I'm in CST which I believe is GMT -6. It happens the day after Kalph's regardless, so there's no point in having a countdown or anything of the sort.

Yes it can.

He'll end up shunning anyone who tries to compete with him.

And this is important why?

No no, Kalphiter counts down in a number of timezones. It'll still be up then.

I never said it was?

You listed it as a reason to not try and better his server, which suggests you find it important enough to be a consideration in whether you do or not.

I also take it you didn't realize he does multiple timezones because you've quoted the least important part of my post.

Or maybe you disreagrded

Well you'd have you find out what timezones Kalphiter is doing, because otherwise your party will have to start at a time where some people are in the 2nd and others are nearing the end of the 1st.
