Author Topic: Roblox Reaches 200,000 Parts (Roblox used a BL Save)  (Read 18851 times)

Alright so a new video came out came out of how Roblox reached 200,000 Parts, to start off the bricks have to load via a script, Roblox's current way of loading the bricks would just crash the game, meaning loading is slow.

However,
looking at the style of the map and looking at some parts of the map, I can almost SWEAR this is Badspot's Block Party possibly mixed with some other Roblox builds. Look at 0:09 at the right and it looks like that gate thats in the Block Party!!

EDIT:

There is a way to convert BL saves into Roblox bricks as I have gotten some done by the user HatHelper, thats how I made my "Roblox vs Blockland brick loading". The user HatHelper must have gave this to devs or did a conversion of the map and the devs used it.

EDIT:

I was right! The link in the video to the place is by HatHelper, he must have converted the save! http://[]www.roblox[.]com/Large-Place-place?id=83305737   Remove the []

Thumb that up ^

What the holy stuffforget.

Also, I can tell because at 0:49 he tries to get in but he fails because that is 4 blocks high. Not 5 or 6 or whatever the roblox player height is.

Yeah, just by the design I was like....people don't usually build maps like this.

That's definitely a block party build.

I like how a large corporation takes builds from another game with no credit, to use in official videos...

lol I laugh my ass off every time I see one of those stupid Roblox characters.

wtf I remember every part of that build.

Notice how the Roblox character can't fit through the house doors?

Yeah I saw that too.

Half of the bricks are floating due to the fact they are bricks that roblox doesn't have them

That was just a roblox player

Exactly, thats what gave it away to me the first time, I remembered that Robloxians were a bit larger than Blockland characters, then as I saw the UK flag, the bridge to the side of it and those three big black bricks which I remember being transparent in Blockland I knew right away.

Cant Roblox be sued for this by not giving credit to the original creator?

No. Owner of the account can.

No. Owner of the account can.
Ah. Ok.

EDIT: The owner of the account that converted it or the owner of the account that played it?

Just thumbs up every comment about the map being from Blockland and get a nice spot as the top comment for everybody to see.
