Author Topic: Your Favorite Game Screenshots [ IMAGE HEAVY ]  (Read 1875 times)

Do none of you know how to prevent a goddamn page stretch
we're not going to downgrade images in a thread dedicated to making them the best things we can have. get over it.

Bankcam is fun they said

Why should I have to resize my pictures just because other people have smaller monitors than I do? I don't get upset when someone with a resolution larger than mine posts a screenshot, that's just the way it is
I'm going to buy a 3840 x 2160 monitor just to spite you.

But seriously, it's annoying to people like me who are on 1366x768.  Show some common courtesy.

Cause it's not a loving hard thing to do, just width=700 all your pictures.

Game can't even handle all the kids i'm having right now

I wish I knew rupal was mentally handicapped before I adopted her though :panda:

You know what else is annoying? People scaling down screenshots to lower resolutions to pacify people who get upset about how inadequate their monitor is to the point where I can't even see the details.
There're two sides to every story, just because you are inconvenienced doesn't mean that everyone else is, similarly just because your solution works for you does not mean everyone will be satisfied with the end result.

Obviously I'm going to meet the specifications of the people who are closest to my own specifications, if you don't like it then too bad, it's not my fault

If people want to see them in full resolution they can just press quote, remove the width=800 and press preview.

So I have to waste other people's time and inconvenience them just so you don't experience any page stretching on your tiny-ass monitor? That's a pretty selfish stance to take on this whole matter.
I have a better idea, how about you quote my post, add width=800 to all the image links and then click preview so you can view them without any issues! Alternatively you can download stylish and make a theme for the Blockland forums which sets the max width of every page to whatever your resolution is, then it will automatically resize images and you don't have to complain to people who aren't going to change the way they go about posting their images on a forum

i rezize all my images to imgwidth=1000 all the time so nobody starts an argument about them being too big

Because it takes almost no effort to resize them to the max width of the majority of monitors.
You're just being a stubborn prick.

So what if I am a stubborn prick? Calling me out on it isn't going to suddenly make me drop my guns and concede to your every demand.
This is a thread dedicated to posting our favorite screenshots and showing them in all their glory, this is not a thread dedicated to pandering to whiny brats who want to force everyone else to accommodate for their vastly inadequate resolution for modern day applications, hell, I even cut out the hard part and got you the stylish script I mentioned, you just download the extension, go into the Stylish options, click write new style then put this in the entry field;

body{
   width:100% !important;
   max-width:1200px !important;
   margin:auto !important;
   background-color:#fff;
}

Set the max-width to whatever you want, type in a name and then at the bottom select "URLs on the domain" then in the box next to it type forum.blockland.us and click add, click save on the left side of the screen and then you will never have any issues ever again, nor will you start fruitless arguments with a person who, by this point, should be well known for his stubborn attitude

You don't seem to understand that 1366x768 is the most commonly used resolution.

I don't know anyone who uses 1366x768 for anything other than windowed applications on a 1600x900 monitor, and I know quite a lot of people who use computers.
Try again
