Why does he have a lecture about procrastination though?

Why does he have a lecture about procrastination though?

Feels good  :cookieMonster:

I'm with Katadeus on this one.

I don't know how to say this in a way that isn't going to make me seem like a pretentious douche, but this wasn't particularly profound. He is presenting a philosophical concept in an entry-level way.

This video is more likely to speak to people who aren't philosophically considerate, or who have shallow understanding about humanity, life, and the universe in general. Its about triggering that thought in people who haven't been there yet. There are a lot of people who are already able to appreciate his message to a more complex level.

Just what I think anyway. I'm sure someone is going to get stuffty at me for saying that but I think it needs to be said. This is clearly aimed at an audience of people who need the spark to give challenge their perspective.

Wow, that genuinely made me feel happy

I love all of you

Speech is kinda generic. Video editing was very well put together though. I'm just not in a mood to make some professor's own rehashed philosophical inspire me. Yes I'm edgy.

Am I the only person who clicked http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xIZfs5xBBc this vid the second I saw it?

I could barely hear what he was saying. :C

Nothing really new I guess, I've heard something similar some time ago.

I understood what he's saying.  I don't think many people would or will believe it.

I concluded something somewhat similar a while ago.

Jesus. That really made me think. The whole "What happens if you go to sleep and never wake up". That's really, really deep. Maybe death is just an entrance into a dream? Or what if we're already dead, and this is death? Really powerful stuff.

What if we are all asleep in some coffin dreaming about "now"

Do you guys understand what I'm saying?

...What I want to know is, why are you experiencing the memories of this specific person?
Due to the way memory works there's something weird happening with the way you're 'remembering' yourself right now. If you become someone else when you die, then you are effectively destroyed. You'd just whiz through every single life in an instant, not experiencing any of them due to this effect.

But that can't happen, right?
So, why am I remembering this person in specific, right now?

I call dibs on my past self being JFK
