Seriously there should be a notification that the loaded build is someone else's. That way people will be free at any time to save and load builds, but the original creator's hard work and effort will always be acknowledged.

Well, bricks are bricks, they were meant to be shared, maybe we should just come to realize that even if they do steal it, it will always still always be yours.

'Stealing builds' is the nature of this game. People take your build, look at how you built it, and then learn how to build better from it. If people were restricted from saving public builds, everyone would build like stuff. Plus, there's already a foolproof method of keeping people from saving your builds. Not hosting them.

I only wish it worked that way. People who steal builds do not, I repeat do not get better at building in the current situation. This is because they entirely rely on tricking people into thinking that they built it and are the genuine creator of it. They don't 'study' it, they take credit for it and that's that. Why do you think so many builders nowadays are so stuff when there's so much sharing and stealing going on?

Thats what I do. Saving builds is fine but claiming credit is another matter.

Just for clarification,

If someone were to host a really damn good TDM, with an awesome build, but almost never hosted it, would it be acceptable if I hosted the build and gave full credit for everything so people could play his amazing TDM, or would that still be a taboo?

I think doing this is pretty forgeted up.
Some people rarely host because they don't want it to get boring by having a 24/7 server, or want to host when they're available. would be a richard move to host against their will
