Author Topic: Dead server on Vista  (Read 2053 times)

Ok I've had enough of not being able to host a Server, I've tried every thing... My ports have been portforward but I have no clue on how to do the static IP. Here's my console, I would really like some help I've disabled all my "Run as Admin" things so I don't have to click allow every time.

My Router is the DSL-302G and my Modem is DI-524.

Yay the console failed to upload.

How are you checking deadness? With my old router, even with "In-Server Join GUI", mine always showed up as dead to me and all on my network.

You have those backwards.

May be the problem

That's the game's clean up when you push Alt+F4 or quit(); or something.

My firewalls are off, I swear I've done every thing expect the Static IP.

I used the Portforward.com instructions for my router and it didn't work until I did the Static IP.

Yeah hosting on my Friends computer (On my Network) doesn't work so I'll have to get this static IP. Do I have to contact my Hosting service to do it though?

Ok where the hell do I get this DNS IP from?? DI-524 Router doesn't seem to have a place for it.

Badspot any ideas why its not working, every single other Torque Game works but Blockland.

I fix it finally, the problem was with the router, I had to make the IP for the open port to my computer and not the router strangely.
