Never seen a LotR movie, never will.

Watched it. 10/10.

PUMPED for Desolation of Smaug

it's honestly not that good
i mean, it's entertaining and all
but lord of the rings was SO MUCH BETTER

they changed to much in this one. the whole "pale orc" thing was bullstuff, not in the book. azog died in the battle after he killed thorin's daddy.

If it went exactly like it went in the book, the movie would have sucked.

Azog was a totally AWESOME bad guy and he deserved to be more of a antagonist like he was.

No interest. I'll never see a Star Wars movie, either.

Nothing to do with nerdiness, I just don't feel like I'll be any more complete by absolving myself of my Star Wars virginity.

Right...

So, you just contradicted yourself...?

Your loss.

I actually really liked that they included content from the appendices and the Silmarillion :c

Tell me you at least watch James Bond films?

wtf did they include from the silmarillion lol? they didn't include things from other sources, they just fundamentally changed the book so they could stretch it into three movies
azog totally sucked in the movie. he looked stupid and acted even more stupid.

Peter Jackson did a great job in adding things that weren't in the original book and removing what wouldn't have been good for the movie. the ONLY thing the movie could have survived without was Raddigast.

Just. Meh.

imo the book could have been fine without any modification in the ways that peter jackson thought were necessary but whatever.
