buy another.
Oh boy.  A child going through his angsty, rebellious phase.  Aren't you edgy and unique for lacking empathy.

Merry Christmas!

I'm really sorry your cat died :c
We had to put one of our cats down a few years ago and it was terrible.

Interesting hearing your story Lalam.

I think the reality for most people is that your pets are likely to die in hospital, than curled up at the end of your bed or in the garden peacefully. Healthcare lets us prolong animal life, and they ultimately become ill in old age. Same with humans.

Nice to hear you took in otherwise unwanted animals too. We saved our cat days from euthanasia, it started as a kitten but a family gave it up. Was facing death because of major overcrowding of abandoned cats... a terrible reality.

Imo, the first thing people should do is go to an SPCA or seek cats from homes that need to give them up. They aren't angry mangled monsters just because they weren't shipped from a breeder.

There is a cat across the road that has one front leg, not sure of the story. I find it kind of sweet actually. Amazing to see the animal adapt.

I have a cat, he's orange and loving fluffy.

He is completely declawed, no claws in the back either

idk what I would do without my little buddy. I love him and he hates me but i pretend he loves me back.

I'm sorry man, I can't imagine how hard that must be. What was your relationship with it?

Last year I bought a hamster before Christmas and it died on Christmas Eve. So I bought another one before New Years and that one died on New Year's Eve. I thought it was a sign that I shouldn't have a pet hamster but this year before Christmas I bought another one [Hamtaro] and he's lived passed Christmas Eve. Let's hope he doesn't die on me too. Btw the reason the other ones died is a thing called "Wet Tail" It's there they basically don't eat there regular food, even though I was feeding him the food that the store keeper was feeding him. Still died. This year I hope this one lives for atleast a year.

EDIT: My oldest hamster lasted 4 and a half year's. He was super old.

If you get really attached to pets, Hamsters sure are a hard one. Three years of happiness then boom. ;c

I'm sorry man. I have lost two cats that I have had for most of my life. It was devastating having to put them down. Just think your cat won't suffer and is out of pain.

I only had 2 dogs as pets, one was already old, and died 3 years ago, the youngest one still lives

its sad when a mutt dies, you begin to regret not playing with it

My cat died recently.  Had her since I was four.  She was the sweetest kindest creature that I had ever known.  She died of some sort of cancer, we don't entirely know to be honest.  I miss her so much.

I am sorry to hear about your loss its hard to lose something we love

This is such a sad venting topic :/
