you sound like a kiwi version of jookia lol

that's not a good thing

So, kind of like minecraft redstone.

okay i see what you're doing here

It is Blockland's first and only default events, named brick free, standalone hard drive. Thats right, no event mods and no named bricks. Just thoughtful design.

Snaily did this in 2009. Just thoughtful reminding.

Link?

This isn't the first time you've claimed someone has done something I've built before and its turned out to be nothing like it whatsoever.

I mean, you did a color-storing hard drive in 20...10? But it is nothing like the functionality of this.

That has absolutely nothing to do with this build or its functionality. It couldn't be further away.

If anything it bares resemblance to the ROM concept I built, which I released fourth months prior to that topic.

gah

i seriously am completely stumped with what this does.
it reads colors? with relays?

The colors are representative of information.

They are mostly for the benefit of the person developing for the hard drive.

Relays are sent rapidly through the cable. They alter the first available memory brick depending how many relays are sent. This changes the color of the brick, plus some toggling inside the events.

The read layer below, when prompted by a relay from the cable, uses projectiles to 'stimulate' the memory packet to fire projectiles back to it. The projectiles cause relays in the reading bricks which are sent out through the cable.

So simply put, relay > projectile > relay using color codes to organize the relay 'bursts'.

you should be the narrator to a researcho

I might redo FWCnet to use a 6-bit (abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz123 4567890!@#$%^&*()<>?'"\|/,.~ and probably some other characters) character format. It'd be very hard, though!

that'd be a forgetin dull researcho

that'd be a forgetin dull researcho

Not if its stiff British researcho, or perhaps low-budget bargain-bin-at-the-gas-station New Zealand researcho.

i don't watch research so i'll have to take your word for it i guess

I inched my way over to the gas pump...
