GoPro Hero 3 Problems

So I got a   GoPro Hero 3 White Edition for Christmas and i went to go try it out so i tried 3 diffrent Mini SD cards all the same brand (Apacer) and it says SD ERR , any ideas on how to get it to work + SD cards that will work with it?

Try formatting the card via the GoPro settings.
