Well this settles it. I am not getting a wii u
Am i the only one here who is not a complete handicap who actually can read user manuals and is satisfied with their Wii U?Okay lets go trough the basics:1)Is everything plugged in? yes2)Is your sensor bar on the right side? I have the settings set to below the TV. My sensor bar is below the TV.3)Did you connect the controller with the sync button? indeed4)Did you calibrate the controller correctly? I'm sure I did. Then again, I didn't find a calibration setting. Only the sensitivity menu under settings.5)Is the controller up your ass or pointing at the screen? You should check this point twice. ass screen6)a wood block isn't a TV. Turn your TV on and place your sensor bar on it. I've always put it under.
Just because 2 idiots complain about their Wii U arriving "broken" (or they are just too stupid to use it) shouldn't affect your choice of purchasing this console. Me and Mr.LoL both bought a Wii U and they work fine. So its a tie. At least 50% of all Wii U's work when coming out of the box according to this tiny research.EDIT: *Sigh*, i was supposed to press the "Modify" button but i hit the quote instead and didn't notice.
I know whats wrong I had to deal with this at a cousins house. If your controllers don't have wii motion plus built in you have to get that addon thing and plug it in.Wii U doesn't handle the really old controls well.So you either have to get the new ones with motion plus built in or look for one of those addon things.
So if you don't do everything precise to get your wii u to work it dies?
nothe main reason for bricks is people shutting off the system (whether accidental or intentional) during an essential update. you can choose not to update and continue to play at the beginning of the system's first start up, and the update will download in the background and install later on.

Can you play the wii u if you don't update it?
