In New Zealand the love laws go like this. Maybe its similar to certain US states and other places?

Found that information when I was 16 on some sites, can't verify but yeah.

I know in the US you have to abide by the consent laws in your state, so if you go to a state with a lower consent age with someone older with the intentions of love than that is illegal.

Just to clarify, this is what I read on some sites. I can't verify if that law exists, if it only applies to teenagers (because I know of cases where female teachers have been arrested for having relations with 15 year old students) and if it still exists.

It's 17 in my state but if people under that age and have love that are the same age then it's up to the parents if they want there kids to they can have both kids go to a Juvenile case.

what he's saying is that in his state the age of consent is 17, but people below that of the same age can forget, and at that point the punishment and whether or not to press charges is up to the parents
