As long as you don't reset it the only issue I see is that some voters will be overwhelmed by the amount of choices.

The problem with adding more options is that people who have already voted will want to vote for these new options.
But because the option is broken, there is no way to allow this except for killing everyones votes.
When you reset it people get tired of constantly revoting and just give up on voting and the results are skewed towards the small group who stays in the thread, almost all of whom are furries.

Polls of any subject have a near unlimited amount of options that could be put. It is extremely impractical to attempt to add all of them. This is why there is an other option.

I can agree, but I need people to stop asking me first to update the damn poll. If they like it. Then why not? Are you sure you're not the only person being tired of doing it? You raise a good argument but what does the majority want. Poll options don't seem to be the answer for this anyhow, so if everyone could please focus their attention on this post. It's not a contest. Yes, there may be flaws in the system and it's probably not accurate, but it's not like the poll data is being used in any research.

Front is just another joke option. You added it into the last poll, and a lot of people voted for it the first time. After a few resets people stopped caring. The last thread currently has one person voting for it

Because there is no way you can possibly add every option to the poll. Adding a forgetton of options so that the one person who likes it can vote for it only clutters the poll and makes it annoying to look through to find what you do like.
