If cameras were computers, Nikons would be PCs and Canons would be MACs. PCs are built for people not afraid of technology whereas Macs are built for people who want things super-easy.

I lold.

Macs have really really really backwards technology. I wanted to edit an image once when I was stuck on a mac. Had to use imgur's editor because none of the software did anything.

What about Kodak?
IT'S ACTUALLY MORE LIKE KODAK FILM
NO
ACTUALLY JAZZ IS LIKE THE THE NEW COKE...
i had to

Pretty loving expensive... You could get just the body for about $400 less, considering there are tons of used lenses for super cheap.

ITLL BE AROUND FOREVER. HE HE HE

That's not true at all. Canon's professional line of cameras is just as complex as any other brand. Just because your point-and-snap camera is overly complex doesn't make it more professional than the equivalent Canon.

I don't get this.

Download GIMP? Buy Photoshop? Find a free editor?

Like, yeah, I get its weird for Windows users to dip their toes in OSX but seriously. Having trouble editing an image on a Mac is like having trouble changing the suction settings on a Dyson.

To further what Icy said, most art programs are designed for Mac and simply ported to Windows. Literally, you have a wider professional photo editing software range on Mac than you do Windows.

wtf I've always used Hoovers what is this

Nikon sucks

But yet the current number one selling cameras are Nikon's.  :cookieMonster:

Used to be a better idea to buy Canon for entry level DSLRs because cheaper Nikons had no AF motor in the body meaning you had to buy more expensive AF-S lenses. Not sure if this still holds true or not.
