Practice parallel parking more than anything, it literally is the hardest part of driving.
Basically when you're turning in, cut the wheel just a little bit less than as sharp as itl go and slowly even out. Don't press the gas, just ease off the brake to accelerate. Once the left side of your car appears to be even with the curb, cut the wheel the other way, slightly off center and even out.
