squirrels have the same rights as cats

uhh you aren't?

But now were all asking ourselves...

why did OP shoot an innocent, cute, huggly squirrel?

I would be arrested by now if I wasn't

where are you getting your laws kid.

Heck the animal police even know that I do it. It's really only illegal if you kill and waste the animal. I use them as a natural resource. Because they make a good stew, and hunting is fun.

The US has this little thing called freedom to do stuff. For now anyway.

Why shouldn't he have.
Its innocent, cute, and 'huggly', what's not to hate?

It could've ran in his house and bit him and gave him a disease

Yup.

you do realize the squirrel's natural role is to be eaten by owls, hawks, and other large birds, right?
If I was a squirrel I would want to be shot dead instead of being pecked and eaten alived. These animal rights activists know nothing of pest control.

although if the squirrel is eaten that's more food for another animal, so both sides have good points i guess
