Mostly under my mom's business, but I've always wanted to go there and she said she would take me this year.

Not sure what to say for PR... 17, no job experience, boyscout, way too much community service to even cite, I've been to a few leadership training courses, I used to be a part of my town's youth council, no offenses / crimes, idk?

my acne would probably quadruple. I could never work at a fast food place and say I have any dignity left.
PROS OF WORKING AT COUNTRY CLUB
+ It's in a rich neighborhood = big tips
+ With time, I could easily shift around jobs, even end up working on the golf course as a caddy, meaning I could drive a golfcart around with concessions / music
+ I know most of the people that would be there
+ It would be a chance to meet very powerful, wealthy people, possibly future employers
CONS
-- I know most of the loving annoying snobby people that would be there
- I would start as a waiter
- I can only imagine the uniform requirements...
- I don't necessarily look like a millionaire's son. I have controllable acne, but even then, I would probably be judged. A lot.
- If I have to listen to recycled work out music in a work out facility OR violins all day in a restaurant, I will loving kill myself.

I'm scared holy stuff forums help me what is all this nonsense. Make me feel better by posting about the first job you got and how horrible fun it was.

Got my first job several months before I turned 17.

Had to buy a suit and had someone help me construct a CV and a cover letter.

Was sickeningly nervous.

Fortunately it paid off. Worked as support for an events team in a medical organization. Was interesting, paid pretty well for a first job, probably because of the hours.

My only advice is to try and prepare for the interview but don't overdo it. Look up what questions are likely to be asked online, get an idea of what it'll be like that way. Ask for a glass of water if you can (they will give it to you, in most cases they'll already be one there) but don't guzzle it lol. Sip it, it'll make you less nervous.
