Run what as executable?
Java isn't installed on my machine, and the java website only gives me what's basically a zip file that doesn't do anything.

Maybe if I update my drivers, then update wine, all my games in wine won't run so unforgivably slow.

Just got some Jre package off of the Package Manager, so that's one problem down.

If you had any smarts, you'd know somehow GRUB2 became corrupt. It's easily fixable by running the Live CD, mounting your Linux partition to /mnt, chroot /mnt, and install-grub2.

I had no 'live cd'
Besides, I have to admit, I kinda figured that it was just the bootloader. Just didn't know exactly how to fix it and didn't want to spend forever trying to find out.
