Author Topic: Real Rules  (Read 1232 times)

I know blockland itself has minimal rules.
But aside from forum rules is there an official list someone could direct or link me to?

I'm pretty sure that there are no rules in Blockland.

don't mod the saving system server sided
don't hack blockland

pretty simple

Here are the ones I know:

*Don't hack
*Don't make mods
*Follow the copyright stuff
*Don't use backhand scripts
*Don't attack servers

I don't think there really is any other rules.

A mod and an add-on are two different things. A mod is like it's own game, but needs the original game to run. For example, RTB 1.045 is a mod. An add-on is like a plugin. It doesn't change anything major.

Touche. However, most of the time, those are either total conversions, or major conversions of the game. However, in Blockland, there are not really any add-on's that I can think of to be major or total conversions, thus not really being able to be considered mods. However, they are minor, or at least not that significant, and are considered add-on's.

I'm pretty sure there's no rule anywhere about mods, it's just that most add-on makers don't realize how to make mods.

Well, by mods, I meant things like TBM and RTB 1.045, things like that.

The creators of RTB were never punished. Hell, one of them is a moderator of the forums.

As did I.
