v8 was an interesting time in Blockland history, lots of the good add-on makers were still around, Space Guy, Aloshi, Nixill, and plenty of others I can't seem to recall at the moment. Hosting a server required intelligence and motivation, because port forwarding was an essentail, and apparently challenging back in the day. The community was brutal to newcomers and idiots, often running them out and down in a matter of days. Drama topics actually meant something. Its sorta like the difference between the "olden days" (Early 1900's) and the newen lazy days (Hippi Era).
I'm sorry to see it gone.
