So...

I'm gonna get a desktop computer next year (Its a model of windows 8, 7 is no longer supported ._.)

So... I'm just wondering, does windows 8 support Steam and its games / Will I be able to run them?

Games for example:

Assassin's Creed II
Just Cause 2

Most programs that run on Windows 7 will run on Windows 8.

All my steam games that I have installed play it fine (Gmod, Tf2, etc.) but if your re-installing BattleField 3, or wanting to play it on your pc, don't get windows 8, DICE didn't support it yet.

Phew, I have no intentions on even buying BF3.

Any game that can run on Windows XP or later will pretty much always run on anything that is Windows XP or later.
Well, with a few small exceptions.

I have ran a whole lot of games on windows 8, that aren't really supported yet. But I have had certain games that were having some minor glitches, but it will all fixed eventually.

I can play
BO2
Black Ops
MW3
Blockland w/ max shaders if you have a good graphics card.
Minecraft
Gmod
Counter Strike Source
But im not sure about all other games. Those are the ones I can run.
Steam works. So everything is fine to work.
